My personal art process drives me into the creation of what I would call a “defined sketch”.

This kind of art often leads to something that is rather an ilustration except that it contains less colours and remains mainly in values.

Sometimes the process starts with a cleaned-up version (especially for architecture renderings) for which I do a values work. It occurs that adding colours with Photoshop layers turns the sketch to a full colours illustration ( see an example in “illustration” page)
